Moving Policies & Customer Responsibilities

Packmark Moving Inc is a licensed interstate household goods motor carrier — not a broker.

Carrier Disclosure

Packmark Moving Inc operates as a federally licensed interstate household goods motor carrier under USDOT #4248839 and MC #1646621. We perform moving services under our own operating authority or through authorized carrier agents acting on our behalf in accordance with applicable federal regulations.

Estimates & Pricing

All pricing is based on the inventory list and services confirmed in writing at the time your estimate is prepared.
• Binding estimates are honored for the specific items and services listed.
• If additional items or services are requested before or during the move, a revised written estimate will be provided for approval prior to any additional work being performed.
• Pricing applies only to the items and services listed and does not represent a commitment to move all household goods unless specifically itemized.

The accuracy of your estimate depends on the completeness and accuracy of the inventory information you provide.

Pickup & Delivery Timeframes

Pickup and delivery dates are estimated unless a guaranteed delivery option is purchased in writing.

For standard long-distance service:
• Delivery is performed within the federally permitted delivery window, beginning from the first available delivery date provided by the customer.
• Delivery windows may be affected by factors including, but not limited to, traffic conditions, weather, mechanical issues, routing logistics, storage requirements, or prior scheduled deliveries.

Estimated delivery dates are not guarantees and are provided for planning purposes only.

Shipment Status Updates

Upon request, Packmark Moving Inc will provide shipment status information, including the most recent known location (city/state) and an estimated delivery window.

Shipment status updates:
• Do not require real-time GPS tracking
• Are subject to operational and logistical conditions
• Are provided in good faith based on the most current information available

Storage & Consolidation

Unless exclusive use of a vehicle is purchased in writing:
• Shipments may be consolidated with other moves
• Household goods may be temporarily stored, transferred, or reloaded between vehicles as part of the normal transportation process

These practices are standard within the interstate moving industry and comply with federal regulations.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:
• Providing a complete and accurate inventory of all items to be moved
• Ensuring proper access at pickup and delivery locations (parking, elevators, stair access, permits, etc.)
• Having items properly packed unless packing services are arranged in advance
• Notifying Packmark Moving Inc of any changes to inventory or services prior to pickup when possible

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect pricing, delivery timing, or service availability.

Valuation & Claims Summary

Basic valuation coverage is provided at no additional cost in accordance with federal regulations. Additional valuation options may be available upon request prior to the move.
• Valuation is not insurance
• Claims must be submitted in writing within federally required time frames
• Complete claims procedures and requirements are outlined in the Bill of Lading
